Job and Principal Accountabilities
** To assist in running subsea equipment offshore to allow the Client to conduct successful and safe operations.
** Typical operations include subsea, running completions deep water operations and Lubricator valve operations
** Actively ensure that his/her own health & safety and the health & safety of all fellow workers or other workers are preserved at all times.
** Ensure full awareness of and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer HSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures.
** Conduct our business in a manner that prevents harm to people and the environment as a result of our operations
** Successful tool runs allowing Client to complete operations safely with minimum ‘down time’.
** Ensure equipment are fit for purpose as this is essential for the success of operations.
** To broaden scope of knowledge to become a more flexible member of the team (through competence system).
** Assist other Expro services as and when appropriate.
::Education::
The prospective candidate must be holder of a
** First Degree in Engineering or its equivalent (Bachelor of Engineering of HND Engineering)
** Possess other skills and competencies such as;
* Intimate Knowledge of basic tools and procedures with regard to how they function
* Testing,
* Troubleshooting and Safe Practices
* Good Communication Skill
* Self Motivated/Disciplined
* Ability to Work Under Pressure for Long Hours
* Hard Working and Tenacious.
** Oil and Gas Industry experience and Subsea Technician/Operator role will be an added advantage.
